Junior course

(Only ages 9 - 11)

The Junior course was established to give those taller 9-11 year olds a chance to challenge part of the Adult course. These participants get to experience the thrill of the green and blue courses as well as take advantage of our GIANT zip lines. While keeping feet flat on the ground and arms raised above the head, fingertips must tall 130cm. Adults haven’t to follow children in courses but it is really important to look after them on the ground. Don’t forget that Your are responsible of your child and his behaviour. Although our team is present close to the courses to supervize climbers. For instance, if our instructions are not followed by your child, he can hurt himself or someone else.

Children's course

(Only ages 7 - 11)

Children naturally know how to climb and scramble across obstacles, and our kids course gives them the practice of managing their own safety lines and movement while honing their physical skills. Unlike the full course for the adults, kids on our white course can do up to many full loops of the course.

This course is designed for children ages 4 to 7. Parents and observers can use the areas along the course that will allow you to walk and observe your child/children as they progress through the course.

The course is not designed for adult use, but you can get some great pictures watching the kids from the ground!

Adult course - how it works

After a brief 30 minute training session, you begin on the GREEN course where you get comfortable with the equipment and the rhythm of moving through each element. After defeating the green course you will move on to the BLUE course. Suddenly childhood memories of swinging on ropes and climbing trees comes back to you. Your agility and sense of freedom return and away you go!

Up further into the trees you head on the RED course. Climbing higher into the trees, try not to let your emotions get the best of you. Balance comes into play when crossing wobbly bridges and swinging surprises. You're feeling confident now, you have defeated the first three courses and can't help laughing out loud as you zip through the forest or watch your friend try to walk gracefully across a moving obstacle.

Yes, you have made it through the entire course, No, wait, you are not done yet! Now it’s time for the ultimate in focus and fitness: the BLACK course. Before you set off, your senses take in the natural beauty and harmony of your surroundings. You climb up even further into the tree canopy discovering that your movements are even more fluid than before.

As your journey ends at Treetop Adventure Park you leave with a smile, a sense of achievement and memories of a lifetime.

The courses are meant to be used progressively and the cost of admission covers one loop or rotation through all four Adult courses. At any exit point along the courses, you can descend. Walking paths will take you back to the guest services and welcome center.

Children's course - how it works

Each child is scheduled into a brief group training session that lasts up to a half an hour. At the training session, the child will be fitted into a harness and Treetop Adventure Park guides will show the child how to remain attached to safety lines and how to use the “child sized” zip lines. Once the child demonstrates that he/she can appropriately use the equipment, he/she will be able to proceed onto the YELLOW course, supervised by the parent (or an adult standing in on the parent's behalf) from the ground.

Guardians must attend the training session (without equipment) along with the child and learn what to watch for in order to supervise the children in their care (don't worry, it’s very straight forward).

Details :

  • A parent or legal guardian is required to fill out a waiver form for each child using the course.
  • To be allowed entry, children must be at least 7 years of age.
  • As well, in order to be able to reach the safety lines and manage their passage through the course, each Child is required to be able to reach the tips of the fingers to a height of 4'7" while keeping their feet flat on the ground.
  • An adult guardian is required to supervise children in his/her care.
  • Guardians must use the areas along the course that allow tracking and observation of children from below as they progress through the course.
  • For the price of admission on the YELLOW Children’s Course, children can adventure through the entire course two times.
